Privacy
Pay What You Can Physio collects as little personal information as it can. This page explains what we keep, why, and for how long.
If you are looking for an appointment
- What we collect: your name, email address, and optionally a phone number, plus your confirmation that you are on an NHS waiting list and cannot afford private care.
- What we do not collect: symptoms, medical history, or proof of income. The clinic will ask what it needs for your care at your appointment.
- Why: to pass your request to the clinic and email you about it.
- Who sees it: only the clinic whose appointment you requested, and the people who run this service. We do not sell or share your details for marketing.
- How long we keep it: your request is deleted about 60 days after the appointment date.
- Your location: if you use “Use my location”, it is used once to search and is not stored.
If you are a physiotherapist
We keep your clinic details, HCPC registration number and the appointments you offer for as long as you have an account. Your address, name and the appointments you offer are shown publicly. Your email and phone are shown only to patients whose appointment you confirm.
Other things to know
- Maps come from OpenStreetMap contributors, and postcodes are looked up with postcodes.io. Your search text is sent to postcodes.io to find the location.
- We use only the cookies needed to keep physiotherapists logged in.
